Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The Principal PMT – Leo Fraud and Abuse, will be at the forefront of building products and processes to mitigate overall fraud and abuse loses for Amazon Leo. You will conduct deep dives, look around the corners, and partner with Stakeholders across Leo and broad Amazon organization to implement solutions to mitigate fraud and abuse. You will also implement a mechanism to quickly identify new emerging fraud & abuse trends and take swift to put controls to mitigate the new patterns of fraud & abuse. This Principal PMT will develop a common vision and scope, establish timelines, and drive system readiness and solutions are ready for launching and growing Leo services. This role will engage with senior leaders across the organization and will work in partnership with Leo Engineering, AWS, and Amazon teams to execute the plan.
Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate plays the role of a business liaison, product and technology leader, and own the delivery of the fraud and abuse product solutions across the end to end customer journey.
- Work closely with senior business and software engineering leaders and SMEs to understand requirements, conceptualize solutions, facilitate development, and deploy fraud and abuse loss mitigation capabilities. broadband customer onboarding and service activation capabilities
- Own tangible goals and deliverables to enable product development and readiness to scale globally and deliver the best customer experiences while still protecting the business from bad actors.
- Possess great written and verbal communication skills and facilitate collaboration across multiple teams.
- Be structured and flexible at the same time to learn as the business evolves.
- Provide visibility and communicate extremely well, with responsibility to provide updates to VPs, author operation plans, business reviews documents, and communicate to the broader Leo and Amazon team.
- Be a seasoned product leader with a demonstrated history of leading product strategy, technology solutions, data analytics, and customer experience.
- Thrive on ambiguity and have a track record of delivering large-scale technology products and/or led large operational or technical teams.
- Lead large, global, and complex technology initiatives in a large business unit, working cross-functionally with a number of business and technical teams.
- The ability to think and move quickly and is inspired to build mechanisms to simplify and continuously innovate.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience in working on fraud and abuse mitigation capabilities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
