We are searching for a Manager in Production, Logistics, Operations or comparable as Area Manager in our logistics center in Gattendorf. If you relocate for the role and your home address is at least 80 km from the site, we will support you with a relocation package.
Operations is the beating heart of Amazon. This key part of our business makes sure we fulfil and dispatch orders efficiently so that our customers get their items on time. As an Area Manager, you’ll make sure your site is running as smoothly as it should so that we can meet customer demand. You will be leading a team that helps keep our operations safe, efficient, and of a high quality and taking on a number of projects across our network to drive productivity.

Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You’ll also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation. You’ll also be a role model and mentor to new managers.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in people management
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English AND very good verbal and written communication skills in German OR Czech OR Arabic

- Experience working in a logistics, operations or production environment
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques
