- Develop and manage comprehensive marketing budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis
- Partner with marketing teams to build financial models that evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI
- Create monthly and quarterly financial reports analyzing marketing spend performance against KPIs
- Lead the quarterly guidance and annual planning process for marketing investments, including scenario planning
- Identify opportunities to optimize marketing spend allocation based on performance data
- Establish financial controls and approval processes for marketing expenditures
- Collaborate with procurement to negotiate and manage vendor contracts
- Support marketing leadership with ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic decision-making
- Develop dashboards to visualize marketing spend effectiveness across channels
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 5 years of financial planning and analysis experience, with at least 2 years supporting marketing functions
- Strong understanding of marketing metrics and attribution models
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning software
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex financial information clearly
- Experience with marketing analytics platforms and data visualization tools
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Balances financial discipline with business growth objectives
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve marketing spend efficiency
- Builds trusted advisor relationships with marketing partners
- Translates complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences
- Maintains accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

- 5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 6 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
