The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Key job responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire submissions, including monitoring trend and sales data
- Develop and maintain relationships with agents and publishers, including leading negotiations and renewing license terms
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., production, marketing) to shepherd titles through publication and beyond
- Design and implement strategies that encourage growth and innovation including distribution and retail opportunities

Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of content creation or copy editing, including online publishing experience
- Experience working with data and leveraging analytics to make decisions
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience in oral and written communication in English
- Strong negotiation skills along with knowledge of standard publishing contracts and P&Ls
- Experience managing and growing new author/agent/publisher relationships
- Broad list of agent/publisher contacts
- Experience working in audiobooks and understanding of audiobook landscape
- Experience publishing across genres
