We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our AWS Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) product team, where we are currently developing several new and innovative services. We’re looking for a top notch candidate to help customer adoption journey from the start to finish. We expect the candidate to be a passionate customer and category advocate within AWS, with proven capabilities and business development skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
In this role, you will produce and maintain system security packages for our cross domain products in coordination with government counterparts. Automating approval and onboarding processes to ensure faster change management and customer onboarding. Working across the AWS CDS team and other AWS teams to establish and maintain information security documentation, including security questionnaires, SSPs, and SCTMs. Reviewing proposed new systems, networks, and software designs with our security engineer(s) for potential system security risks, and resolving integration issues related to the implementation of new services with the existing cloud infrastructure. Implement higher level system security requirements such as those resulting from laws, regulations, or government directives by developing long range plans for security systems that anticipate, identify, evaluate, mitigate, and minimize risks associated with cloud infrastructures’ vulnerabilities or perceived vulnerabilities.
This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Produce and maintain system security packages for our cross domain products in coordination with government counterparts.
- Automate approval and onboarding processes to ensure faster change management and customer onboarding.
- Work across the AWS CDS team and other AWS teams to establish and maintain information security documentation, including security questionnaires, SSPs, and SCTMs.
- Review proposed new systems, networks, and software designs with our security engineer(s) for potential system security risks, and resolving integration issues related to the implementation of new services with the existing cloud infrastructure.

- Spend the majority of your time working with technical business leaders (such as hardware or software engineering leaders and technical program managers) to develop and produce Accreditation and Compliance related documentation and automation systems to ensure efficient service on-boarding.
- Build the case for change and prepare board-ready presentations and briefings for senior executive stakeholder communications.
- Engage in pursuits that span across multiple Amazon services.
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership teams and Field Sales organization.
- Partner with cross functional teams across Amazon and partners – security, engineering and professional services to help execute a winning pursuit.

Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of technical product or program management experience
- 2 years of software development experience
- 3 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- 3 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
