We're looking for a proven Senior Manager, PM-T to lead the product vision, strategy, roadmap, innovation and execution of one or more products that keeps Amazon business compliant with Sanctions laws. Our ideal candidate will have a deep product management background, experience in owning products with high impact and defining short and long-term product strategy and vision. Our ideal candidate should possess strong business acumen with strategic, analytical, and critical thinking. Our ideal candidate should drive strategic communications across organizations providing clarity in decisions and understand the product and software life cycle to drive teams towards business solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Our mission is to prevent sanctioned entities from transacting with Amazon businesses. We build real-time screening platform to detect and prevent prohibited transactions with the sanctioned entities using a complex custom built matching algorithms leveraging machine learning. We screen over a billion events every day, integrate with Tier 1 systems, deal with unique scaling challenges and help Amazon stay compliant with sanctions and compliance laws. We are still day 1 and have an exciting road map to build ML powered detection and resolution framework to help scale Amazon for years to come.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
