What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapist position at Amazing Love Health Services LLC?
The incumbent will serve as a liaison between different institutions to assist patients and collaborate with other service providers to ensure patient wellness by providing therapeutic services, providing/updating assessments and coordination of care.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Your job duties and responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide therapeutic services to clients through individual, family and group sessions that are consistent with the current research, professional standards and ALHS’ vision and values
- Serve as the first emergency responder for Team CSWs to provide the necessary services as per client needs.
- Complete Diagnostic Assessments, Treatment plans and other care plans as needed
- Work in collaboration with other healthcare providers, client’s family and or other collateral contacts to assess the health needs of the client and to formulate plan of care.
- Conduct individual and group supervision with team in the absence of the clinical managers to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure all assessments and care plans are updated and documented as per program standards and client needs.
- Ensure all services rendered are documented in accordance with regulatory standards
- Adheres to agency values and principles and promotes them within the agency and the community and works to position the agency as a leader in service provision in the community.
- Ensures that accurate program and client records are maintained, and that client confidentiality is respected at all times.
- Must be able to provide a minimum of 25 billable service hours weekly.
- Maintains confidentiality with regard to service recipients’ treatment and records in accordance with HIPAA.
- Maintains a current awareness of developments in assigned field and within the agency.
- Perform other duties as assigned deemed relative and appropriate
Requirements
- Master of Social Work/Master of Psychology/Master in Professional Counseling required
- LGSW, LGPC DC Licensure preferred.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
