Amazing Grace Pet Space is seeking an experienced, professional Pet Groomer to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who can confidently perform everything from bathing and deshedding services to full, breed-specific haircuts and complete grooming services.
This is NOT a bather position. Applicants must have prior grooming experience and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full grooming services from start to finish
- Complete breed-specific haircuts and styling
- Bathe, brush, dry, and prep dogs for grooming
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other grooming services
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming workspace
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding their pets' grooming needs
Requirements:
- Previous professional grooming experience required
- Ability to complete full grooms independently
- Knowledge of breed-specific cuts and styling
- Strong handling skills and patience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Must provide your own grooming hand tools (clippers, shears, blades, combs, etc.)
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
