Preschool Sports Coach

Amazing Athletes is an education based, sports enrichment program for young children ages 18 months to 12 years, although mostly 3-5 year olds. The curriculum teaches the fundamentals and mechanics of 10 sports in order to help young children build their motor skills.
We are currently looking for Amazing coaches who can work a part time schedule (12-15 hours / week) and who can easily travel to Boca Raton, Florida and surrounding areas (Delray Beach, Boynton Beach). More hours and consideration will be given depending on performance and availability. Position starts mainly in May with screening and training before that and the availability to be a substitute until then.

Classes are scheduled in 35 minute time slots starting from 9:00 AM - 5:00PM, although most classes are in the mornings between 9:30am to 12pm or afternoons between 2:30pm to 430pm. The exact times and length for each school is unique but will be typically 1 to 3 hours for each location. Summer camp hours may be 9-3PM in some locations. You will be working mainly with children ages 2-5 years although some classes may involve school aged children, or toddlers.
Candidates need to be self motivated and be able to work independently. Reliability and Consistency is a Must. Our Amazing Coaches are the best in the industry and become part of our family. Requirements:

• Background working with children (camp counselor, elementary education, early education, preschool teacher, substitute teacher, coach, etc.)
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation.
• Must have own vehicle of transportation
• Passion for sports / fitness and working with children
• Background in fitness a plus (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Amazing Athletes Coaching Duties:

• Being prepared for class by learning each week's lesson plan and how to best instruct the young athletes
• Showing up on time with enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor
• Interacting with parents, teachers, directors, and children on a daily basis and being able to articulate class description
• Teaching and conducting classes in an organized and structured manner while also making it fun and challenging
• Making sure you are outgoing, fun, and energetic every class
• Understanding responsibilities while the children are under your supervision
• Maintaining up to date class rosters
• Submitting accurate pay stubs to management for review
