What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior MIS Manager position at AMAX?
*Salary range: $145,000 - $175,000 annually*
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead MIS team to develop and maintain global information systems to support organizational objectives
- Translate and map user requirements into database and software application design
- Fully understand the business process and implement new features according to the user requirement
- Create project plans to work on requirements from internal users and customers
- Be able to identify the root cause and create an overall plan for the process improvement instead of only fixing the issues identified
- Resolve customer support issues
- Set up the training and knowledge sharing within the MIS team
- Interface with other departments and customers
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their integration or automation to enhance business processes
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and performance metrics
- Be a good problem solver
- Be able to manage multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar professional fields
- Minimum 5 years of MIS/Software team management experiences
- Minimum 8 years database application design and/or implementation experience in ERP/MRP
- Strong leadership in managing and coaching the team
- Familiar with software development
- Experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Database
- Experience working in a rapid development environment
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Deployment and development experience in SAP is a plus
