JOB SUMMARY
The inside sales representative will be responsible for a smooth order to delivery cycle. The sales representative ensures the orders are entered correctly with the correct part number and pricing and is handed over to production with the right priorities. The inside sales representative proactively follows up with the customer in case of potential issues or delays. They build a solid long-term relationship with the customer and as part of that visits the customer at least once every month. To be successful as an inside sales representative you should be able to build instant rapport, achieve customer satisfaction, and be a very good listener.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicates with customers
- Visits Customers within 2 hours of the facility at least monthly
- Understands customers' needs.
- Answers customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
- Enters Customers Orders
- Sets up parts in system
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
- Maintains database of current customers.
- Explains features of products and services.
- Stays informed about competing products and services.
- High School diploma/GED
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Previous related sales experience, preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Able to travel to local customers (within 2 hours of the facility)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce)
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Movement - This position needs to frequently sit, move about inside the office and production facility. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Operate/Use - Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Ascend/Descend - May be frequently required to ascend/descend stairs
- Communicate - This position frequently lifts or moves 10 pounds, Occasionally moves up to 25 pounds, rarely moves up to 50 pounds.
- Work Environment - Typical office environment. In the production facility: Noise level requires use of hearing protection, movement about facility may require use of steel toe shoes, safety glasses. This position is fast paced.
