Position Overview:

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective team management in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight to nursing staff across detox and residential programs
- Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care
- Supervise, train, and mentor nursing team members, including performance management
- Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure appropriate coverage, including on-call support
- Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, and leadership to support treatment planning and patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards
- Monitor and improve clinical workflows, documentation, and quality assurance processes
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development
- Respond to clinical issues and emergencies as needed
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland (or eligible for endorsement)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or management role
- Direct experience in substance use disorder treatment, including detox and residential settings required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in behavioral health/SUD treatment
- Ability to work full-time day shift with flexibility for on-call responsibilities
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Prior experience in a supervisory or program management role within behavioral health
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
