Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and monitoring of patient health and treatment progress.
- Support patients throughout various phases of addiction treatment, including stabilization and recovery support.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, counselors, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about substance use disorders, treatment options, relapse prevention, and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
- Previous experience in an addiction treatment or substance use disorder facility preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment.
