About the Role:
The Industry Territory Manager is responsible for developing and executing territory sales strategies, managing key customer accounts, and supporting distributor performance. This position plays a critical role in expanding Amatrol’s presence in industrial, commercial, and workforce development markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual commercial sales strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Maintain accurate pipelines and forecasting to support production planning.
- Identify growth opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
- Serve as the primary field liaison for authorized distributors
- Support distributors with territory planning, customer targeting, and performance improvement
- Manage key, corporate, and strategic customer accounts
- Lead or support high‑value sales opportunities, presentations, and negotiations
- Host customer visits and represent Amatrol at industry events and trade shows
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Engineering, and Operations to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (technology disciplines preferred) or equivalent experience
- 5–8 years of industrial sales, technical sales, or workforce development experience
- Proven success managing territory‑based sales and distributor networks
- Strong understanding of industrial automation and technical training markets
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Strong analytical and forecasting abilities
- Highly organized, accountable, and self‑motivated
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Louisville Metro Area
- Ability to travel regularly by plane or car
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office‑based with frequent travel
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing and laboratory environments
- Use of standard office technology, CRM systems, and sales tools
