Our Technical Writers partner with the equipment designers and curriculum developers at Amatrol to create a complete training system — curriculum, simulations, multimedia, equipment, and more.
Amatrol's technical learning materials help people get better jobs! We’ve been doing it since 1981, and are looking for talented individuals who can work with independence and creativity to expand our already broad technology training base. We are working in green technology, IIoT, smart networks, data analytics, robotics, PLCs, HVAC, and a whole lot more.

Essential Functions:
- Write content that connects with students and makes difficult concepts easy to understand.
- Interpret detailed outlines of technical content and create fluid prose that teaches well.
- Create teaching materials using modern methods and technologies, including animations, simulations, and interactive exercises.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-year degree in English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in technical writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen grasp of style, structure, and teachability.
- Ability to absorb complex technical information and translate it for non-expert audiences.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Jeffersonville, IN
