Responsibilities:
- Assist nursing staff with daily care activities, including vital signs, wound care, and mobility exercises
- Monitor and report changes in patient status to nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control standards
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning of patients
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Tech (PCA) or equivalent
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients according to established guidelines
