Position Title: Men's Locker Room Attendant
Reports to: Locker Room Manager
Position Summary: Provide a member experience, deliver drinks on the golf course, and primarily upkeeps the Men's Locker Room cleaning duties.
Classification: This is non-exempt, hourly position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends and nights if needed.
- Ability to learn how to operate the point of sales and Club app system.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Must have State Issued Driver’s License.
- TABC & Food Handler’s Certification.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a Club environment.
- Basic bartending skills.
- Knowledgeable about the game of golf and golfer's needs.
Education and/or Experience:
Associates Degree or equivalent
Physical Demands: This position involves (on a regular basis) sitting, standing, walking, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, reaching, and lifting at least forty (40) pounds.
Hours per week:
- Hours will vary based on tournament schedules, weather, club events. An associate could work up to 40hrs/ week.
Tournament Schedule:
Our club hosts many different types of tournaments. Our “peak” season is highlighted by our Whing Ding Invitational. The Whing Ding is a 224 player four-day member-guest event. Our club also has many LGA and MGA events along with three highlighted holiday events. We traditionally host one Monday outing event per month.
Work Week:
Amarillo Country Club is closed on Mondays, outside of a monthly Monday outing. This position will require opening shifts beginning at 7:00 a.m.
This position will require the associate to be present for all major tournament days. We host over twenty-five events in peak season. This position will provide an opportunity to take tournaments from start to finish.
