Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of the inventory tracking system and control processes; lead continuous improvement and best practice implementation
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate storeroom and receiving personnel in daily operations
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and report on inventory activities, variances, and trends
- Train team members and establish standardized procedures for effective inventory control
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage departmental expenses within budgetary guidelines and drive cost-saving initiatives
- Apply the progressive disciplinary process, including counseling and formal warnings, to maintain high performance
- Monitor inventory levels, recommend adjustments, and lead disposition of surplus or obsolete parts
- Enforce high housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean and organized work environment
- Oversee stock replenishment and requisition review in coordination with the Procurement team
- Liaise with other departments and management on inventory-related issues
- Provide backup support to the Facility Purchasing Manager as needed
- Perform other related duties to support facility operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory control operations with supervisory responsibility
- APICS or ISM certification preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with inventory tracking and ERP systems; JDE experience is a plus
- Ability to understand and implement written procedures, safety requirements, and company policies
