Welcome! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,300 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Amador County Unified School District has two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools and six elementary schools.

This is for the TK-K classrooms. Internal District CSEA 239 members will receive first consideration. CSEA 239 members may submit a Transfer Application (pickup from HR office or print from this posting). External applicants, please fill out the Edjoin application.

High school diploma or the equivalent, and
Two years of college (48 units), or
A. A. degree (or higher), or
Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. If you need to take the test, call ACUSD HR (209-257-5390 or 209-257-5350) and we will schedule an appointment.
DOJ Fingerprinting and clear TB test required for this position.
