During the first year of employment you will need to earn the English Learner Authorization or CLAD certificate by course work, exam or a combination of course work and exam. The ACOE ALLOWS YEAR FOR YEAR EXPERIENCE CREDIT WHEN PLACING EMPLOYEES ON THE SALARY SCHEDULE. Experience must be fulltime, contracted work & worked over 75% of each school year to qualify (substitute work does not qualify). We pay 100% of the induction costs for our new teachers.
