Personal Care Attendant

Job Overview:

• Schedule: Part-time 10 Hours a week
• Client: Military Veteran requiring in-home, non-medical support
• Location: Franklin, TX

About the Client:
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver for a U.S. Veteran who would greatly benefit from a caregiver with shared cultural values and understanding. The veteran requests the ideal candidate will have a strong familiarity with African customs, food, and communication styles, to help create a comfortable and culturally enriching care environment.

Duties Include:

• Companionship and emotional support
• Assistance with daily routines such as light housekeeping, meal prep, or personal care (if applicable)
• Medication reminders and safety supervision
• Respectfully supporting the client’s dignity and independence

Ideal Candidate:

• Has prior experience working with Veterans
• Understands the unique needs and values of military service members
• Exhibits compassion, reliability, and a strong sense of respect
• Is punctual and consistent with a professional attitude
• CNA, HHA, or equivalent caregiving experience preferred
