In-Home Caregiver
We are hiring Caregiver SuperStars that can help our Client with their Activities of Daily Living. MUST DRIVE AND OWN A VEHICLE. This Shift is MONDAY - SATURDAY. We are hiring for a client that is a fall risk, recovering from a stroke. ADLs will include hands on assist with transferring, ambulating, toileting, and showering. Meal prep. light housekeeping, and friendship will also be needed. Amada hires caregivers who are eager to work and willing to provide exceptional care to our senior clients. Pay Rate: $19/hour - CNA, PCA, or HHA Certification Highly Recommended
Responsibilities can include:
- Non-Medical Senior Care
- Companion care
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) based on client’s individual needs(may include dressing, toileting, showering, and other personal care assistance)
- Meal prep
- Light Housekeeping
- Driving for Errands/Appointments
- Medication Reminders
- Accurate clocking in/clocking out
- Open Communication with office staff

Requirements:
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Authorization to work in US
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test will need to be completed once hired (company will cover cost)
- Pass a live scan fingerprinting background check particular to our company (company will cover cost)
- Empathy for the needs of our clients
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well enough to communicate with clients and office effectively
- Treat clients, staff, and coworkers with courtesy, and respect
- Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information
- Senior caregiving experience is a plus but not required- we will train and place accordingly.
- Must access to working smartphone for clocking in/out and scheduling
