This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role based in Los Angeles, CA. As a Caregiver at Amada Senior Care, you will provide compassionate support and assistance to clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility. You'll ensure a safe and nurturing environment, monitor the clients' conditions, and report any changes to the appropriate parties. Building meaningful relationships and enhancing the quality of life for those in your care will be at the core of your responsibilities. Flexibility and attentiveness are essential for success in this role.
- Experience in personal care and assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Skills in meal preparation, light housekeeping, and managing daily living tasks
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and families
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with individuals with diverse needs
- Prior experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred but not required
- CPR and First Aid certification are a plus
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving are beneficial
