AMA LTC is a growing, multi-facility long-term care organization expanding across Ohio. We are seeking a Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to support and lead operational performance across a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities.
This is a high-impact role responsible for driving results, supporting facility leadership, and ensuring consistency in operations, quality, and compliance across multiple locations.
Position Summary
The Regional Director of Operations provides oversight and direction to facility Administrators and leadership teams. This individual is responsible for ensuring strong operational performance, regulatory compliance, census growth, and financial outcomes across the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight for multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within Ohio
- Support, coach, and develop Administrators (LNHA) and facility leadership teams
- Monitor and drive performance related to census, quality measures, staffing, and financials
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including survey readiness
- Partner with clinical, HR, and admissions teams to align operational strategies
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective action plans
- Support acquisitions, transitions, and new facility onboarding as the organization grows
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license – REQUIRED
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in long-term care operations leadership
- Prior multi-site oversight (Regional/Divisional experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Ohio regulatory environment and survey process
- Proven ability to improve operational performance and lead teams effectively
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
