Senior Construction Coordinator - Semiconductor Manufacturing Fab Project

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Coordinator (CC) to lead field execution and ensure safe, reliable delivery of construction scope aligned with project milestones. This role serves as the on-site leader at the point of work, partnering with the Project Integration Team (PIT), Trade Partners, Tool Owners, and third-party stakeholders to drive schedule, safety, and quality performance.

The CC acts as the primary point of contact for tactical field operations, ensuring work is well planned, coordinated, and executed to meet committed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Leadership

• Champion safety excellence and adherence to Work Control Processes
• Conduct daily field inspections and Pre-Task Plan (PTP) audits
• Stop work when necessary to ensure safe conditions
• Provide proactive safety coaching

Execution & Quality

• Monitor progress against key milestones (Prefac, Move-in & Set, SL1-C/SL2-C)
• Ensure readiness for QCR/QAR inspections
• Coordinate third-party testing and certifications (e.g., pressure, analytical, electrical, exhaust)
• Validate system integrity prior to testing phases

Coordination & Planning

• Lead coordination of tool installation, logistics, and manufacturer dependencies
• Support SIPP, eFIT, and tool reservation activities
• Participate in Pull Planning, Weekly Work Planning, and Daily Huddles (Last Planner® System)
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate constraints impacting execution

Schedule Management

• Drive short-interval planning and communicate field priorities
• Align daily execution with overall project schedule and team commitments

Qualifications

• 12 years of semiconductor or high-tech construction experience, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field 2 years relevant experience, OR
• Associate degree in a related field 6 years relevant experience
