Job Description
We’re seeking professional CDL-A drivers to join our Tanker (non-hazmat), Flatbed, and Dry Van teams. Drivers are responsible for delivering freight safely and efficiently, maintaining professional communication with customers and dispatch, and ensuring DOT compliance at all times.
Responsibilities
- Transport freight safety
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections
- Plan routes efficiently and maintain delivery schedules
- Secure loads properly (flatbed/tanker knowledge a plus)
- Follow all DOT, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and paperwork
- Represent A.M. Express with professionalism and courtesy
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical certificate
- 1 years of verifiable CDL-A experience
- Clean driving record – no DUIs, drug convictions, or DOT-recordable accidents
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations
