What are the responsibilities and job description for the Go for a run to help end Alzheimer's! position at Alzheimer's Association of Northern California & Northern Nevada?
We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer's Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.
At the Alzheimer's Association, diversity and inclusion are vital to our mission. The Association leads strategic initiatives to support diversity and a culture of inclusivity. These strategic initiatives also strengthen outreach to all populations, providing communities with resources and support to address the Alzheimer’s crisis. By partnering with organizations locally and nationally to advance diversity and inclusion, the Association can broaden its reach in all communities.

The Alzheimer's Association of Northern Nevada is looking for runners to help us raise awareness and funds for families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia for one of our national signature events, Do What You Love To End ALZ.
You can support the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia by running with friends, hosting your own race event or asking friends and family to support you by donating for every mile you run in a day! The funds raised help the Alzheimer’s Association provide services like no-cost support groups, care consultations, education programs, our 24/7 Helpline and help support our research efforts.
You can also join Volunteer Committee to help recruit and coach other runners to help them turn their passion into purpose.
