Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. caring for a medically fragile child in a home setting provides essential clinical and personal support under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The role focuses on maintaining the child’s safety, comfort, and health stability while adhering to a specialized care plan.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Assistance (ADLs): Provide hands-on care for personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Nutritional Support: Assist with meal preparation and feeding; monitor and document fluid intake and dietary requirements.
• Medical Equipment Management: Oversee the cleanliness and proper functioning of specialized home equipment, such as oxygen tanks, ventilators, or feeding pumps.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of treatments, medications, and any incidents according to agency and state policies.
• Emotional Support: Engage the child in age-appropriate play and offer reassurance to both the patient and family members during stressful periods.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• First aid and CPR-certified(BLS certification)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
• Ability to lift heaving objects
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work with limited supervision
