Dog Daycare Front Desk

Position: Lobby/Floater at Always Unleashed Job Description:

• Work at the front desk, checking in and out the doggies.
• Engage in feeding, answering or calling back the many calls, administrative duties, and some cleaning and sometimes helping with feeding.
• Fast-paced position with no time for sitting around if you're doing the job correctly.
• Quick thinker, smart, and ability to retain instruction quickly.
• Detail-oriented and organized must be second nature.
• Clean cut appearance with the ability to explain our program with sophisticated eloquence.
• Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Ensure other staff is completing their chores.
• Experience running a fast-paced office is a must.
• Bold, strong personality required for handling and interacting with 80-100 large, strong dogs.
• A meek or soft personality doesn't lend itself to a safe environment.
• Must possess the strength and confidence to handle conflicts between dogs.

Requirements:

• Experienced professional with a proven track record in fast-paced environments, adept at managing multiple tasks and excelling under high-pressure situations. Minimum one year of relevant experience handling a heavy workload and thriving in a dynamic atmosphere. Ideal candidate for a position requiring multitasking and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
• Active, strong, athletic - able to confront the rigors of handling big dogs.

North Scottsdale Location: 7230 E Adobe Drive (Scottsdale Rd, 2 miles north of the 101). Compensation: Starting pay for a Receptionist/Big Dog Handler is $19.50- 20.50 per hour. First 25 hours (30 hours (5 days) of training are paid at $13.85 per day. Then we bump you up to 19.50. Working interview to assess mutual fit and interest. Job Details:

Job type: Part-time Hours: Somewhere between 7:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm (sometimes weekends alternate between staff members, and flexibility to work weekends is needed)
