About the Role
The Scheduler Specialist is responsible for scheduling, caregiver recruitment and onboarding as well as daily office support. This position ensures the best quality care through staffing, recruiting, onboarding, and monitoring caregiver performance.
Responsibilities
- Staff caregivers based on experience and client needs.
- Conduct onboarding and monitor caregiver performance.
- Handle re-routing, re-staffing, and updating client/employee details.
- Place job ads, set up interviews, check references.
- Provide general office support, including phone answering.
- Provide disciplinary action when necessary for caregiver staff
- Be on-call every third week for after-hours support.
Qualifications
- 2 years of scheduling experience in home care or health care industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software like Clear Care (WellSky).
- Strong written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in non-medical in-home care agency is required.
Required Skills
- Non-medical home care agency or health care facility scheduling: 2 years .
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, collaborative.
- Thrives under pressure in a growing agency environment.
- Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
- The ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Great communication skills and ability to document accurately in a time-sensitive nature.
Pay range and compensation package
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
Competitive pay ($26/hr) with bonuses
Stipends for on-call work.
Work from home for on-call duties ONLY.
