Caregiver – Part-Time (Female Client)
Location: Little River, SC
Pay: $14.75 hourly rate
Schedule: Wednesdays | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pet-Friendly Home: Small dog in the home
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to assist a female client in Little River. The client is fairly independent, but benefits from support, encouragement, and companionship during the shift.
This is a great opportunity for a caregiver who enjoys engaging with clients and providing light assistance in a relaxed home environment.
Care & Support
Assist with toileting as needed (client is mostly independent)
Monitor for safety during showering and encourage routine hygiene
Provide companionship and engagement
Encourage activities such as painting or crafting
Household Support
Change bed linens as needed
Clean bathroom as needed
Light housekeeping: sweep, mop, vacuum as requested
Dishes: client can wash/load; caregiver to put dishes away
Laundry: may need help starting laundry (client folds/puts away)
Meals & Errands
Prepare meals as requested
May include baking a casserole for leftovers
Minor errands
Pick up items from the store or drive-thru if requested
Pet Care
Feed and refill water for small dog (as needed)
Additional Expectations
Document general comments each shift
Note any changes in condition
Provide a brief summary of how the shift went
Requirements
Minimum 1 year caregiving experience preferred
Reliable transportation (for errands if needed)
Comfortable working in a home with a dog
Patient, encouraging, and engaging personality
