POSITION: Substitute Teacher (School Year of 2025-2026)
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student leaning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 60 college hours from an accredited college
POSITION: Substitute Paraprofessional
PRIMARY PURPOSE: A substitute paraprofessional – clerical is responsible for assisting the campus staff in performing a wide variety of clerical duties in the absence of the regular clerk.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED; and
Two years of study at an institution of higher education totaling 48 hours, or Associate's Degree, or
Passing score on the "Paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies" exam, to be administered by Alvin ISD
(Note: the above criteria must be met before your application can be considered for this position and if you are selected for an interview, transcripts showing your degree or college hours should be presented at that time)
