We're seeking a passionate and spirited Beertender to join our buzzing hive at Alvarium Beer Co.! As a member of our team, you'll be the heart and soul of our taproom, ensuring that every guest leaves with a memorable experience and a thirst for more.
- Become an Alvariaum Ambassador: Develop a deep understanding of Alvariaum beers, styles, brewing processes, and ingredients.
- Deliver Stellar Service: Greet guests warmly, answer questions about our beers, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Master the Pour: Pour perfect pints with precision and attention to detail, following responsible service practices.
- Maintain the Alvariaum Vibe: Keep the taproom clean, organized, and stocked, ensuring a comfortable, safe and inviting atmosphere.
- Embrace the Team Spirit: Collaborate with colleagues to provide efficient and friendly service.
- Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work effectively during peak hours, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
We are seeking individuals who are at least 21 years old and have a genuine passion for craft beer and customer service. We are also looking for:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a service industry role, preferably in a bar/taproom or restaurant environment.
- TIPS certification
- Passion for craft beer, with a particular interest in Alvariaum's beers and brewing philosophy
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork
- Proficient in basic math and cash handling
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends and special events. (including some holidays). Ability to start as early as 2pm preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves standing for long periods, lifting kegs and cases of beer up to 50 pounds, and working in a lively environment. Beertenders will need to navigate the taproom and outdoor seating areas and be attentive to customers while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
