Summary of Position:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Craft exceptional coffee experiences: Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and related products with precision and care.
- Connect with guests: Build rapport with customers, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure a memorable experience.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment: Excel in a fast-paced setting while also demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness during slower periods.
- Champion cleanliness and safety: Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in all aspects of your work.
- Foster an inclusive and positive team environment: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a culture of excellence where everyone feels welcome and valued.
- Experience: 1 year of related experience in a customer facing role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Excellent active listening, memorization, and recall abilities.
- Knowledge of specialty brewing equipment operation preferred.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Roasting knowledge, experience, or interest is also a plus.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Availability: Up to 25 hours per week (weekend availability required) and the ability to start early in the morning.
