Key Responsibilities
- Keeping proactive communication with existing clients, prompt responses to prospective clients, and on-going communication with lead sources
- Conducting regular file reviews and strategy meetings with paralegals to ensure proactive work and communication
- Assessing value of cases and handling cases in a manner that is professional and maximizes value for the client
- Coordinating with partners on matters to ensure file movement and competition of tasks as assigned by partners in a timely manner
- Marketing yourself and the firm consistently with regular networking
- Conduct Motion Practice and Discovery in a manner consistent with firm protocols, maximizing case value and firm efficiency.
- Monitoring case calendars monthly, managing all court deadlines proactively, and ensuring compliance with Court Management Orders.
- Consistently providing five-star customer service for clients and referral sources
- Attending CLEs, seminars and workshops paid for by the firm to better your knowledge and understanding of ongoing legal issues
- Assisting in training and managing firm staff working on your files to ensure consistent and proactive case handling
- Daily fostering a positive, adaptable team environment while demonstrating reliability through punctuality and collaborative support.
Qualifications
- 3 years of litigation experience in personal injury trial work.
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure, and personal injury related law.
- Proficiency in case management software (Filevine).
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
Salary : $75,000 - $150,000
