Job Summary
PacifiCare Health Management is seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support ongoing maintenance, repairs, and small renovation projects across eight skilled nursing facilities in Los Angeles County. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for general maintenance and repair tasks, as well as assisting with inspections, room turnovers, and compliance-related repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across facilities, including drywall repair, patching, texturing, and painting
- Conduct basic framing, carpentry, baseboards, trim, and LVT flooring installation
- Perform basic electrical work, including outlets, switches, thermostats, light fixtures, and junction boxes
- Complete basic plumbing tasks, including toilets, faucets, P-traps, drain snaking, and minor leak repairs
- Assist with inspections, room turnovers, and compliance-related repairs
- Must be able to lift at least 45lbs
- Report all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc., immediately
- Ensure work/assignment areas are clean and tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored
- Required:
- 2 years experience in facility maintenance or property management
- Strong working knowledge of multiple trades
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have standard tools and equipment for projects
- Preferred:
- Experience in skilled nursing, healthcare, or assisted living facilities
- Experience in commercial real estate maintenance
- OSHA 10/30 preferred
- Pay Range: $25–$30 per hour depending on experience
- Reimbursed travel and phone
- Benefits:
- Full time employees will be eligible for benefits following sixty (60) day eligibility period
- Medical – company will contribute up to 75% of the lowest offered benefit plan for Employee Only. Dependents added to the plan will be at full cost.

Salary : $25 - $30
