Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw and finished materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions within quality management systems.
- Support manufacturing teams by providing real-time feedback on quality issues and assisting in root cause analysis.
- Participate in calibration of measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision systems, and other precision tools to guarantee measurement accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems including QA/QC procedures.
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis skills to interpret inspection results effectively.
- Experience conducting quality audits and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify deviations from specifications swiftly.
