- Maintains accurate records of medication and treatments given. Be alert and active in supporting facility’s commitment to safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents’ rights.
- Set up and pass oral medications as prescribed.
- Make proper chart entries regarding residents’ medications.
- Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rate.
- Stock and prepare medication cart for rounds and always observe safe and secure practices.
- Observe and notify nurse of any negative drug effects or interactions and assist in resident care emergencies.
- Valid state CNA or home care aid certification.
- 1-2 years working in a memory care facility preferable.
- Valid CPR/First aid card.
