Thank you all so much for your continued interest in working with IU Health!In House shifts Only OB Triage (outpatient)This is a Laborist position where the provider is in-house for their entire 12-hour shift. Ideally need providers that can take a minimum of 2 shifts a month Call is shared with a group of Laborists and generalist. No in-office clinics for this position. Please include an hourly or shift rate.Laborist Scope of Work: Triage patient evaluation- admission and discharge Labor Management- during the weekday this responsibility is primarily assisting the Generalists with patient care, evenings and weekends the Laborist is the primary MD managing labor and delivery with the assistance of the Generalist on call and CNMs Performing vaginal and cesarean deliveries Respond to any immediate inpatient OBGYN concerns/ patient needs ER evaluation of OBGYN patients who necessitate an OBGYN consultation Inpatient evaluation and management of all OB patients who present as unattached or MFM transfers Round on antepartum OB patients on weekends and provide immediate response to antepartum patient needs Perform circumcisions for infants in NICU/Special Care Nursery ABOUT IU HEALTH:Named a 2025 Best Hospital for Maternity Care by U.S. News & World ReportNew OBGYN Tower opened October 2025 at Fishers Hospital2,200 providers across 175 locations statewideRanked #1 in Indiana by U.S. News & World ReportRiley Hospital for Children is Indiana’s only nationally ranked children’s hospital
