3rd Shift - 11pm-7am - 8 Hour shifts, Sunday night through Thursday night, must be okay with weekends & overtime. Overtime paid after 40 hours.

**Must be able to train on 1st shift 7am - 3pm Monday-Friday. - 8 Hour shifts.

Summary Of Position: Maintaining furnace four (4) operations during work shift as directed. The essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

Principal Duties and Functions:

1. Follow proper procedures for working scrap into the bath of the molten aluminum in the furnace.

2. Monitoring the Loader Operators charging of the furnace well.

3. Monitor the materials being charged into the furnace charging well.

4. Ensure the proper amount of flux is being used with the scrap.

5. Ensure the bucket on the walker is kept at a proper temperature for the operation of the system.

6. Ensure the well walker is gone over at the beginning of the shift to note any problems that could slow down production.

7. Ensure the Well Walker area is kept clean.

8. Ensure that the well walker bucket is kept cleaned off and the holes are not plugged up.

9. Enforce all safety rules and regulations as set forth by company policies.

10. Maintain, and complete pass down reporting between shifts.

11. Maintain all required paperwork to ensure it is complete, up-to-date, and accurate.

12. Follow all directions as may be given by management. (i.e., President, General Manager, Plant Manager, Production Manager, or their Representative.)

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is required to stand on concrete for long periods of time. The employee will have long periods of sitting in the equipment being used for charging the furnace. The employee is also required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls, reach above the head with hands and arms, and will climb requiring some balance. The employee must lift and move varying weights. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures of both heat and cold.

Work Environment:

The work environments herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the principle functions and duties of his/her job; (1) While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near open flames, moving machinery and equipment, moving mechanical parts, and in outside weather conditions. (2) Employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and cold. (3) The noise level in the work environment is usually slight to moderate.

Position Requirements:

1. Ability to work well with management, supervisors, other employees, visitors, and customers.

2. Some administration skills are helpful.

3. Some mechanical aptitude, equipment familiarization, and general math are helpful.

4. Flexible to work in different jobs and shifts as needed and Overtime (OT) as required.

5. Occasional moderate to heavy lifting is required.
