Position Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for handling the inbound and outbound movement of goods. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks or carriers.
- Verify quantities and conditions of received materials against purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery, including packing, labeling, and loading.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
