Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits using established recipes or custom creations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with excellent time management skills
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service during busy periods or catering events such as banquets
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or casual settings
- Proven bartending experience with strong cocktail mixing skills and spirits knowledge
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development, wine varieties, craft beer brewing, and mixology techniques
- Experience in customer service roles within the hospitality industry that require excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle cash handling, cashiering, basic math, retail math, and food safety procedures accurately
- Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods
