Job Summary
Altius Solutions is seeking a reliable CNC Machining and Fabrication team member to operate CNC and automated manufacturing equipment producing high-quality metal and plastic components. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, consistent processes, and precision-driven manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
- Operate CNC and automated production machines performing machining and forming operations
- Read and follow CNC set-up sheets, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Make routine CNC adjustments including tool changes, offsets, and feed/speed corrections
- Load raw materials and monitor machine performance
- Perform secondary fabrication operations such as deburring, grinding, polishing, stamping, and straightening
- Conduct basic preventive maintenance and daily machine checks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Follow ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Basic shop math and measurement skills
- Ability to pass required pre-employment testing
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 35 pounds
- Frequent use of hands and arms
- Close vision and depth perception required
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with moving machinery
- Moderate noise level
- Exposure to fumes or airborne particles
