What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machining Application Engineer / CNC Programmer position at Meredith Machinery?
Meredith Machinery is a New Machine Tool and Robot Distributor based in Louisville, KY. We are seeking an Application Engineer to support our turn key production machining product lines as well as supporting our customer's training needs. The ability to program CNC vertical, horizontal machining centers, and CNC turning centers for production machining systems are a must. Requirements also include the ability to create demonstration programs for our showroom demo machines, provide customer training for new machine installations, and recommending machining strategies for our salesmen. Experience with robotic systems is a plus.
The position is unique in that we work with customers from the Automotive, Aerospace, Medical and Military Industries. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with several different materials and part requirements. We work closely with major cutting tool OEMs and the successful candidate will be trained to be on the cutting edge of tooling, work holding, and metalworking technology.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years minimum experience in programming various types of lathes and machining centers and 3 years minimum experience with Fanuc controls. Experience in Mastercam or Esprit Cam is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
