Pediatric Dentist

Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care for infants, toddlers, school-age children, and adolescents, with a focus on preventive and routine care, restorative treatment, and positive patient experiences. The role combines independent clinical practice with collaboration across a multidisciplinary pediatric care team and offers opportunities for continuing education, mentorship, case review, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric dental examinations and monitor oral growth and development.
• Deliver preventive and routine dental care for patients across all pediatric age groups.
• Provide restorative treatment as clinically indicated.
• Apply behavior management and guidance techniques tailored to children and families.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate nitrous oxide-only sedation services when appropriate.
• Educate parents and patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
• Maintain accurate electronic dental records and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary referrals and participate in a multidisciplinary pediatric care team.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in pediatric dentistry.
• Valid state dental license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pediatric oral diagnosis and preventive dentistry.
• Knowledge of pediatric restorative dentistry and behavior guidance.
• Experience providing nitrous oxide sedation and dental radiography.
• Proficiency with electronic dental records.
• Strong patient education and clinical communication skills.
