As a growing company, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept in handling a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, from Accounts Payable and Receivable (AP/AR) to managing shipping and receiving logistics, using Sage software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office operations, including AP/AR functions.
- Print and process tickets for shipping and receiving.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the Sage software system.
- Monitor accounts, prepare reports, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare, file, and manage sales tax submissions, including multiple state sales taxes.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate monthly financials.
- Coordinate and maintain office supplies, equipment, and communication.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle general office administration and support senior management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management or similar administrative roles.
- Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and monthly accounting practices (bank reconciliations, financials, sales tax).
- Experience and proficiency with Sage software is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
