Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs engineering calculations, plans and specifications, under guidance of a lead engineer.
- Responsible for Electrical design, writing specifications, inter-discipline coordination, field surveys, and documentation, design reports and analysis.
- Completing projects on time and within budget.
- Interact with vendors concerning parts they supply or propose to supply.
- May direct/coordinate the work of drafters.
- Inter-discipline coordination with all departments and customers to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
- Drafting and/or coordination in AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Associates Degree from a recognized CAD training facility or associate degree in electrical engineering.
- 10 years experience in drafting and electrical design.
- Must have initiative and be capable of working independently on most required tasks.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Must be a self-starter and able to contribute in design reviews.
