If so, we're looking for a Distribution Manager to take ownership of our daily distribution operations and help ensure our product is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating delivery schedules, managing warehouse activities, maintaining DOT compliance, and keeping distribution processes running smoothly. During peak seasons, you’ll provide guidance and support to seasonal team members while playing a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. What You'll Do:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the distribution department.
- Coordinate daily delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Partner with customers and the distribution team to provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery scheduling and logistics.
- Reconcile driver invoices and monitor the handheld invoicing system.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, truck loading, and dock activities.
- Coordinate vehicle availability, preventative maintenance, and repair schedules.
- Audit driver logs and vehicle inspection reports to ensure DOT compliance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations.
- Coordinate logistics for special events and deliveries.
- Receive equipment repair requests and dispatch service technicians as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- One to three years of experience in distribution, transportation, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a CDL Class A or Class B driver's license.
- Experience using handheld devices, mobile technology, and business phone systems.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
