What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Altern Technology Systems?
Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customer’s location to fulfil daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer inventory. They are responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- Will be working on a small team and may need to cover other hours when needed between 6:30am-5:00pm - looking for someone who can be flexible within those hours with some notice
- This is a 3-month temp assignment to provide coverage for an associate on medical leave. Potential for extension or temp to hire if the situation changes.
- Must be reliable and able to work independently
- This role requires someone who can be on their feet a lot moving throughout the facility
- Must have strong attention to detail, familiarity with warehousing, inventory management.
- Will assist with cycle counting.
- Customer service skills required. Will engage with customer frequently.
- Experience loading vending machines and/or forklift experience preferred (not required)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
