What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Front Desk (Evenings or Weekends) position at Altenhofen Inn & Suites?
Evening Position: The Altenhofen Inn & Suites in Seneca, Kansas, has a Part-Time Evening Front Desk position available. We are looking for someone to work two evening shifts per week, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, preferably on Wednesday and Thursday. We do have some flexibility on shifts and are willing to discuss possibilities.
Experience in customer service, working independently and as part of a team, and proficiency with computers are preferred. Some of the evening Front Desk job duties include:
- Answering the phone to assist with reservations and sharing hotel information.
- Interacting with guests at check-in and assisting walk-in guests.
- Doing all laundry duties and performing general cleaning duties.
If you are tech-savvy, can pay close attention to details, enjoy meeting new people, and don't mind doing laundry and some cleaning, this would be an excellent job for you.
Weekend Position: The Altenhofen Inn & Suites in Seneca, Kansas, has a Part-Time Weekend Front Desk position available. We are looking for someone to work two morning shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. We do have some flexibility on shifts and are willing to discuss the possibility of having somebody work every other weekend or one weekend morning shift each week.
Experience in customer service, working independently and as part of a team, and proficiency with computers are preferred. Some of the Front Desk morning job duties include:
- Answering the phone to assist with reservations and sharing hotel information.
- Interacting with guests at check-in, check-out, and during breakfast.
- Maintaining breakfast and handling all kitchen duties during breakfast hours.
- Cleaning up after breakfast hours are over.
- Doing some laundry and performing other general cleaning duties.
If you are tech-savvy, can pay close attention to details, enjoy meeting new people, and don't mind doing some cooking, cleaning, and laundry, this would be an excellent job for you.
Starting pay will depend on experience and skills. Management will contact qualified applicants to set up interviews starting on Monday, July 27th, 2026.
